Looking to add a drop of wellness to your life? We don’t blame you. Our CBDfx Tinctures are 100% vegan, made with non-GMO, CO2-extracted hemp oil, and combined with a carrier oil—in this case, coconut oil (MCT oil)—to improve absorption and bioavailability; delivering a consistent, high-quality CBD experience every time. To enhance your experience we’ve infused our CBD tinctures with everything from Curcumin and Coenzyme Q10 to special terpenes blends.
Call us traditional, but it’s hard to beat the fast-acting benefits of pure hemp extract when it’s consumed orally compared to other methods like vaping.
Starting with industrial-grade hemp grown in the USA, our CBD oil tinctures hold some of the highest-quality CBD oil on the planet.
Blended with coconut-derived MCT oil for increased absorption, our CBD oil tinctures use isolate CBD, and purposely-crafted terpene blends in the case of our Wellness Tincture.
These formulations mean our CBD tinctures are crafted to give your body everything it needs for maximum benefit. We call this “layered functionality”—a combination of rich cannabinoid profiles, terpenes, nutrients, botanical extracts and other compounds that work in harmony to produce a more profound effect.
What’s In CBD Oil?
Pure CBD or Cannabidiol is a naturally-occurring compound found in cannabis. Our hemp extract oil is selected due to its low THC content and high CBD content.
CBD provides the calming effects of THC without the “high.” Once the CBD is extracted from the hemp plant with the CO2 extraction method, it’s combined with a carrier agent (fats and oils) to allow the body to consume it in a fixed amount of CBD.
Hemp Extract (Cannabidiol) Tinctures
Our Hemp Tinctures are made with high quality hemp extracts: Cannabidiol for our Hemp Tinctures and Cannabidiol and Cannabigerol for our Wellness Tinctures.
At CBDfx, when extracting the CBD oil from industrially grown hemp plants, we use one of the cleanest methods in the industry: CO2 extraction (as opposed to ethanol). As a result, our CBD is always solvent-free from a pure, single-pass CO2 extraction resulting in a safer and cleaner end product for you, the consumer.
For added benefit, our tinctures are universally vegan and are made with all-natural ingredients. From the outside looking in, this may seem like a lot of effort to undertake to create a CBD tincture. However, we believe in the idea that what we put in our bodies has a profound effect on our sense of wellness. And that’s why we guarantee only the highest quality products for our customers.
We also extensively use third-party testing at the batch level to ensure the purity and quality of all of our products. In fact, you can find a QR code on every one of our products which is a link to its corresponding lab report.
As a manufacturer, we're proud to say our hemp—among the best in the world—is grown in the United States. We source all of our industrial hemp directly from Kentucky and only use the finest, non-GMO, and pesticide-free compounds in our production.
What Are the Benefits of CBD?
The benefits of CBD are entirely anecdotal as there has been very little research done with CBD due to legal issues and so it is not recognized by the FSA for any wellness or health benefits. But this is changing as we see more research get underway in the USA. Many users of CBD have a myriad of reasons why they choose to use it, the general consensus is that CBD provides a greater sense of calm and well being. The results of this can manifest in the body or possibly the mind, so we always advise prospective customers to try out CBD for themselves at a responsible level and to determine the effects for themselves.
How Much CBD Oil Do You Need?
When it comes to dosing things can often get a bit confusing. As we mentioned above, regardless of the type of CBD product you have, you'll want to start off slow, to find out what works for you.
Because CBD intake is a very personalised process, you'll want to try out a range of products (tinctures, gummies, topicals, and edibles) to determine the best intake schedule for yourself. At the end of the day, your CBD experience will be based on a variety of unique factors such as your weight, metabolism, age, genetics, product type, concentration, and more.
For example, because CBD is fat-soluble, a heavier set person may see improved results as the oil becomes absorbed into the body's excess fat cells more readily.
So, when finding your ideal CBD intake schedule, start small and work your way up. You can measure your CBD intake with your tincture dropper. Apply a bit under your tongue and swish it around your mouth for maximum effect for about a minute. If you fail to feel the intended effects of your CBD, try a larger amount in a few hours or the next day. The FSA recommends that you consume no more than 70mg of CBD in a 24 hour period.
Bioavailability is the level that your CBD product is absorbed into your bloodstream. Different products have different levels of bioavailability. For example, a CBD tincture has a high bioavailability since it enters your bloodstream rather easily underneath the tissue of your tongue.
However, in contrast, the bioavailability of a CBD topical would be a bit lower since it needs to get through the upper layer of your skin to enter your bloodstream.
Once absorbed into your bloodstream, the CBD reaches your body's endocannabinoid system. It then sends out signals to the receptors throughout your body—the CB1 and CB2 receptors. The endocannabinoid system is designed to maintain homeostasis in the body, however, when it's acted upon by cannabinoids it can code for different physiological effects in the body.
What Are Terpenes?
In all things that have an aromatic smell to them (fruit rinds, flowers, tree bark, essential oils, etc.) you'll find terpenes. These molecular chemicals are all around us and feature prominently within CBD oil and other CBD products.
Known for their therapeutic effects (aromatherapy)—even when used singularly—when combined with CBD oil they can achieve a sense of layered functionality, combining the benefits of CBD with the benefits of terpenes.
Today, there are over 200 known terpene compounds that can be sourced back to cannabis plants and over 20,000 terpenes overall.
Here's a quick look at some of the biggest and most important terpenes compounds in CBD...
Limonene is a terpene that can be found in a variety of citrus fruits. It can enhance your CBD experience by helping to increase the overall absorption level of other terpenes as well.
Found in pine, eucalyptus, orange peels, and rosemary, Pinene has been used through the centuries as a natural anti-inflammatory; dating back to ancient Chinese medicine.
Linalool can be found in soft, flowering plants like lavender and chamomile, which can produce a calming sensation via its aromatic qualities.
Humulene is found in hops, sage, basil, echinacea, ginger—giving them all a robust smell.
Can You Take CBD Oil for Pain?
This is a common question among prospective users of CBD.
We can't say. Literally and legally. Today, industrial hemp and all of its derivatives are now legal, meaning everything from CBD gummies to CBD oil are available to the public. However, for years, due to the previous illegality of CBD, hemp, and cannabis, research on the plant and its chemical compounds was limited. Although much research has been done since then with real clinical trials, animal studies, and peer-reviewed papers, there's still a great deal of knowledge that we've yet to discover about the effects of CBD.
As it stands, the overarching information we have on the effects of CBD is from consumers like yourself—as a result, it's largely subjective. People take CBD for a variety of reasons and thankfully, have found relief in both their minds and their bodies through the continual use of CBD products like CBD oil.
Obviously, it's worth mentioning that none of this is possible without the endocannabinoid system (ECS). This system bridges the gap between the cannabinoids you get from CBD (and the ones your body naturally produces).
As the ECS produces physiological responses to CBD, it's possible that it is a leading cause for the feeling of bodily relief derived from CBD.
Can You Use CBD Oil to Stop Smoking?
For many people, quitting smoking is one of the hardest—and most worthwhile—habits they'll ever give up. Cigarette smoking has been routinely linked to cancer and other medical conditions, and causes a bevy of comorbidities in the body that increase the chances of death as you get older.
However, for those who want to give up the habit, what often holds them back is less about nicotine, but the action of smoking itself. It's why people who smoke will opt to chew gum or eat candy. It's something else that replaces the physical action of smoking a cigarette. In the case of CBD, it's been reported that many have replaced the physical action of smoking a cigarette with eating a gummy, hitting a CBD-filled vape, or taking a few drops from the tincture.
By supplanting these kinds of bad habits with ones like intaking CBD, many users have had an easier time transitioning away from cigarette smoking.
Today, there's a wide variety of CBD tinctures and oils available on the market to address the needs of all types. You can explore tinctures, gummies, vapes, and other products, but definitely give CBD a try if you're looking to take more positive steps towards overall health and wellness.

What is CBG Oil?
If you're wondering what makes CBG so special, we can start by telling you how rare it is. Did you know that in a given hemp stock, the CBD to CBG ratio is 20:1? That means to get it to a 2:1 ratio in our Wellness Tinctures, we had to harvest 10x more hemp? The reason for that is that CBG "the mother cannabinoid" is critical to enhancing the effects of CBD in the much-desired entourage effect. It interacts directly with the CB1 and CB2 receptors in the brain to provide further balance within the body by interacting with your endocannabinoid system.
I’VE NEVER TRIED A CBD TINCTURE. WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
You’re not alone. And whether you call them CBD tinctures, CBD drops, or CBD oil extract, there are many newcomers out there wondering how to take CBD oil, and more importantly, how it’ll feel. Here’s your answer: It depends. Generally, you might feel a mild wave of calm—in some cases, you may feel calmer and not even remember why.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF CBD OIL?
We mentioned this above but largely it’s a sensation of calming repose throughout the body and mind. There are a wider variety of currently-studied therapeutic opportunities but you’ll have to see if you experience these additional benefits on an individual level.
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CBD OIL AND A CBD TINCTURE?
Whether it’s a CBD oil vs CBD tincture or a CBD tincture vs CBD oil, we want to be clear here...there is no difference. In fact, the best way to think about these terms is the CBD oil goes into a CBD tincture. These terms are often used interchangeably but rest assured, they’re the same.
HOW IS THIS CBD OIL TINCTURE BETTER THAN OTHER CBD OIL TINCTURES?
People who’ve tried different brands agree that when it comes to CBDfx oil tincture, there’s no comparison. Our products are tasty, well-designed, and highly effective.
HOW DO I USE A CBD OIL TINCTURE?
If you’re wondering how to use CBD oil, simply follow the directions on the label. Depending on the concentration of your tincture, you may want to consume a full dropper or a 1/4th of one. Whatever your choice, start with a small amount (perhaps one dropper-full) and gradually go up until you find your perfect serving. For best results, place under the tongue for 60 seconds before swallowing—there are tiny blood vessels under the tongue that transfer the CBD directly to the bloodstream.
HOW DO I KNOW WHICH CONCENTRATION IS RIGHT FOR ME?
When you buy CBD oil, start small. Our entry-level concentration is regular strength 500mg. However, if you believe your needs are great enough to warrant a stronger concentration, you can choose all the way up to maximum strength plus which is 4000mg. Keep these general guidelines in mind when selecting your first tincture strength, and feel free to contact our customer service representatives if you have additional questions. The FSA recommends that you consume no more than 70mg of CBD in a 24 hour period.
